Frequently asked questions

MINSOS is a healthcare and nominee management platform for India. Patients use it to book doctors, store health records, track medicines and policies, and give trusted family members access. Doctors and labs use it to manage appointments, consultations, tests and reports.

The patient app is free to download and use on Android. You pay for the services you book through it, such as a doctor's consultation fee or a lab test. Optional nominee care plans are also available.

Not yet. MINSOS is available as an Android app and on the web at minsos.net, which works in any phone or desktop browser.

Sign in, open Doctors, choose a speciality or look for doctors near your location, pick a doctor, then select an available date and time and confirm the booking.

Doctors decide whether they offer in-clinic visits, video consultations or both. The options available for each doctor are shown when you book.

Online payments are processed securely through Razorpay. If you cancel within the doctor's cancellation window, a refund request is raised and processed after review. Full details are in the Terms of Service.

A nominee is a family member or other trusted person you add to your account. Nominees can view the health records and insurance policies you keep on MINSOS, help manage medicines and are notified when you trigger SOS.

Your nominees and emergency contacts are alerted and your location is shared with them. SOS does not contact an ambulance or the police, so in a life-threatening emergency dial 112 first.

You, the nominees you have added, and the doctors you have given access to. You can change doctor access and remove nominees at any time.

Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Uploaded documents are kept in private storage and served only through time-limited links to people who have access. See the Privacy Policy for the full detail.

Use Delete Account in the app, or follow the steps on the Delete Account page at minsos.net/legal/delete-account.html. Your request is reviewed and your data is then erased.

Register as a doctor on the website, complete your profile with qualifications, clinic details, timings and fees, and submit it for verification. Once our team approves it, patients can find and book you.
